Saturday, Dec.27: The GREAT flood of 1360

Here is my photos from the day of the flood. My roomie got better ones, and I'll link it soon. But I'm sure you'll get the idea.

These are various stages of the... flooding. But basically what happened is the main water pipe (forgive my lack of .... better wording...) burst becasue it froze cause the building didn't heat our main hallway. It flooded half of the building all the way to the basement. The water was turned off after 1.5hrs. It was pretty bad in our appartment but becasue me and my roomates happened to be there we stopped it from entering our rooms and the area in where nintendo wii is. We know our priorities.

whale watching

here's the boat, the guy with the hat was the driver, and from left to right is cidy, wes, sam and Mya, she and her husband (not featured) were from brittain. I guess they travel all over the world to see the whales. the type of whales we saw were pilot whales, they're small, but it woulda been scary to see bigger ones.

this was probably one of the coolest experiences in my shot life. I reccomend to any one to do this, esspeicially in a zodiac. (ie rubber raft with a powerful engine)

yeah, some of these are on the moutain we had to go around. Holy winding road!
ooh, for any flower buffs out there, I think the pink thing is scottish thistle. Its around here a lot.
